Education

Caring for people experiencing grief is not always an easy task. The Lavender Project strives to make caring for the ones we love as easy as possible by investing in research and offering multiple training tools for healthcare professionals and friends.

About this program

Understanding how to care for someone that's grieving is something most people don't learn until after someone close to them, or they themselves, experience a tragedy. Different tragedies sometimes require different care. Not all nurses, doctors, or friends caring for grieving families can be well trained on how to handle all of the challenging situations that arise when caring for people experiencing grief. The Lavender Project strives to provide education for anyone who needs it through multiple training tools and investing in research related to bereavement care.
